Infotainment Features

The center stack touchscreen has become a staple in modern vehicles, now coming standard are nearly all new models. 2021 GMC vehicles go above and beyond by offering smartphone integration and technology that will make every drive more convenient. The 2021 Terrain, for example, features available built-in Amazon Alexa capabilities¹ so you can access grocery lists via your Whole Foods Market cart, stream movies, and many other features. Another smartphone interface feature is Apple CarPlay®² and Android Auto™³ which either comes standard or available depending on the trim level and vehicle, allowing you to enjoy all of your favorite apps right on the touchscreen interface. If you’re tired of relying on your data plan to ensure that you have an internet connection for these apps, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot can be equipped as well. The Terrain and Acadia comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen, and the Yukon features a 10.2-inch touchscreen. In the Canyon and the Sierra 1500 you’ll be able to add an 8-inch touchscreen. 

Safety Features

Technology to help guide and protect your time behind the wheel of a 2021 GMC vehicle also encompasses a wide range of features. Select trims of SUVs such as the Terrain, Acadia, and Yukon feature an available High Definition Surround Vision Camera that allows you to toggle between the traditional Rear Vision Camera view, an overhead look, and a front view. If parallel parking is a source of frustration, you’ll love the available Automatic Parking Assist feature which can sense the distance of the parking space and takes over steering as you control the brake and gear changes. GMC Pro Safety and Pro Safety Plus combine safety features together as standard or available packages, making it easy to ensure that the 2021 GMC model you love has the tools you need.
